5/18 Build Your own Travel Tumblers
Build your own pair of travel tumblers at Lifestyle Pottery on Sunday, May 18th at 2pm-4pm! You will receive 2 large slabs of clay to work with at the table and a multitude of studio tools to use. You will be given guided instruction on the process, shown examples for inspiration & then left to your own creativity to create a masterpiece! The travel tumblers can be whatever shape & style you’d like, using the clay given. Your instructor can teach you how to carve and add detail to your tumblers. You will be able to make TWO tumblers!
After your class, your pottery will dry out and be fired in the kiln, this typically takes a total of 3-3.5 weeks. Once they’ve gone through their first kiln firing you’ll be able to come back in to glaze/paint them yourself (after receiving an email). Once the travel tumblers are glazed they'll go through one last firing before they’re ready to be picked up! This is a one day workshop! BYOB welcome!! Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks!
~Your work will take 4-6 weeks before ready for pickup
~Drinks and snacks are welcome!
